Eco-Anxiety
To start, whilst this page is called eco-anxiety, it really relates to the range of experiences we are all collectively having around our future and our environment.
Eco-Anxiety is a word that has been growing in popularity over the last 5 years and is a way into the conversations around the experiences we have relating to environmental destruction. The field of Ecopsychology however has been growing over the last 50 years.
Anxiety about the future of our planet effects all of us, sometimes in overt ways (e.g. for those who are climate activists), and sometimes in entirely subtle ways (e.g. for those who are deciding whether to use a keep cup or not).
There is so much to explore in this space. This is just my beginning.
Below is work conducted in collaboration with Far East Victorian Landcare.
