About

We are a psychology practice dedicated to understanding both what makes you unique, and also what it means to be a person, a human today.

“I note the obvious differences between each sort and type. But we are more alike my friends, than we are unalike.”
- Maya Angelou

Every person arrives at therapy with their own story, struggles and questions. At the same time, our experiences are deeply shared. We live in relationship with others, shaped by communities, culture and the worlds we move through each day. Beyond; was created from the belief that psychological work is not only about understanding and insight, it is about the way we impact and are impacted by others.

Located within the communal buzz of Revolver Lane in Naarm/Melbourne, our practice blends quiet confidentiality with a sense of connection to the world outside. We have intentionally created a space that feels both professional and human, both safe without being generic. We hope this space becomes somewhere to pause, reflect, and step away from the expectations, judgments, and "shoulds" that often shape everyday life.

This is not simply a place to talk about problems. It is a place to explore experience.

For many years, conversations around mental health have focused on fixing, as though people themselves were problems to solve. We see things differently.

Rather than asking what is wrong with you? We explore what matters and who you are in the world around you. Beyond; exists to support not only healing, but deeper participation in being human.
