About
What happens when you sit with yourself? What happens for you when you sit with others?
“There is no human deed or thought that lies fully outside the experience of other people.”
- Irvin D. Yalom
Found within the communal buzz of revolver lane in Prahran, our practice blends quiet confidentiality with a foundation of community. Our space is a reprieve from the judgments and should's outside, a thoughtfully curated space offering both a professional practice with an urban homely feel.
This space is to become yours, a space to work through you, a space to see yourself in a way you never have before, a space that finds you opening to potential and confronting that which may be keeping you feeling stuck.
Melbourne is deeply connected to mental health, wellness, and personal growth trends. A cultural shift is happening, Self-help has experienced a booming rise, but the pitfalls of an overemphasis on self-help lie in the nature of us all having blind spots. By definition, these blind spots are virtually impossible for us to see on our own. Long-standing traditiion refers to these blind spots as our subconscious. We offer the experience of self-exploration with another. In so doing we aim to expand our sense of self, see what we don't see, and to in turn live with greater attunement.

Today we are all hunting for identity. In the hunt, what happens to the question of who am i? How do we make sense of the world around us? Beyond the therapy room is a psychology practice dedicated to growing our circles, expanding our lenses, affirming our voices, and reflecting on our echo chambers. We use a range of psychological therapies to work with our community to feel more self-acceptance and meaning in life.
Jarrod is a clinical psychologist working with Groups and Individuals, 18+, exploring meaning in life, the conscious and unconscious mind, relationships with one another, and self-acceptance. Jarrod works with people who are largely curious about their continued experience of suffering. Typically, this looks like people booking in experiencing anxiety, neurodiversity, trauma, depression and mood issues, addictions and obsessions, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and personality disorders.
